Just Released! iCookbook 2.0 Now Available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch!
Hey everybody! Today’s a HUGE day for those of us on the iCookbook team: we’re thrilled to announce that iCookbook version 2.0 was released early this morning and is on-sale now in the iTunes App Store. If you already have iCookbook on an iPad you can just open the iTunes store to get the update to the latest version.
Perhaps the biggest change in our new version is that for the first time ever iCookbook is now what’s called a “universal” app which means you can use it on an iPhone, an iPod Touch or an iPad. We think you’ll be blown away by how great the recipe photos look on the iPhone’s display, by the way.
We’ve made some pretty significant additions to iCookbook’s capabilities, too. In particular you should definitely check out:
- How-To videos that show you step-by-step the way kitchen pros tackle common cooking tasks like cutting vegetables, rolling out pie crust, and making gravy
- Drag and drop your favorite recipes to My Recipe Box and Meal Builder for easy meal planning
- Sync your recipes and shopping lists between your iPad and iPhone with iCloud
- Pull up your recipes and videos on your big screen TV via Apple TV with AirPlay
- Rate your favorite recipes or see the most popular rated dishes
- Add photos to your personal recipes
Already have iCookbook on your iPad? Then update it (for FREE) to version 2.0 and you can also install iCookbook (for FREE) to any iPhone or iPod Touch that shares the same iTunes account, so long as your iPhone or iPod has the latest iOS 5. Everyone else who downloads iCookbook starting today can also use it on all devices that share an iTunes account.
We’re so pleased with iCookbook 2.0 that we’ve decided to celebrate the launch with a special, limited-time price of $4.99 (iCookbook is regularly $9.99). Click here to get iCookbook 2.0 with its more than 2,000 recipes, hands-free voice command and FREE monthly recipe updates!
And as always, we’d like to know which iCookbook recipes you’re making. Click the “Contact Us” button above to write to us here at iCookbook.com, or message us on Facebook at facebook.com/icookbook.
